Cleaning the roller

Clean the roller when envelopes do not feed correctly.

Follow this procedure to perform roller cleaning:

1. Remove paper from the Auto Sheet Feeder and cassette.
   
   
2. Press <Feed Switch> to select either [REAR AUTO SHEET FEEDER] or [FRONT CASSETTE].
   
   
3. Press <Menu> repeatedly until [MAINTENANCE] appears.
   
   
4. Press [<] or [>] arrow to select [ROLLER CLEANING].
   
   

5. Press <OK>. The machine starts cleaning the roller.
   
   

6. When cleaning has finished, repeat this procedure twice more.
   
   
7. Load letter-size plain paper and repeat this procedure three more times from step 2.
