Set up DRPD on MultiPASS L6000

1. From the Windows Desktop, click 'Start', 'Programs', 'Canon MultiPASS', then select 'MultiPASS Desktop Manager'.

2. From the MultiPASS Desktop Manager, click 'Setup', then 'Receive Fax'.

3. In the Receive Fax window, click the down arrow at Answer Receive Mode field and select 'Distinctive Ring Pattern Detect'

4. Click the Advanced button to change the receive mode for the particular ring pattern on your telephone line. Use the chart below to select the appropriate Action for each ring pattern. Place a check mark in the box to the left to activate the Action drop down menu then click your selection. Fax ID and Fax Number are not required.

5. When all setting changes and/or entries are made, click 'OK' on open windows.

6. Click 'Yes' to the following message: 'These settings will now be downloaded … Do you wish to proceed?' The printer will accept the changes and the Fax Setup window will close.

7. Click on 'File' and Select 'Exit' to close the MultiPASS Desktop Manager, then verify [DRPD] appears on the MultiPASS' LCD.
