Sending Faxes after Dialing Twice (Fax Number Re-entry)

Set FAX no. re-entry to ON following the procedure below.

1. Check that printer is turned on.

2. Press the Setup button.

   The Setup menu screen is displayed.

3. Select Fax settings, then press the OK button.

4. Select Security control, then press the OK button.

5. Select FAX no. re-entry, then press the OK button.

6. Select ON, then press the OK button.

• After entering the fax/telephone number, the following screen will be displayed. Please enter fax/telephone number again.

  

Sending Faxes after Checking Information (Checking the Recipient's Information)

Set Check RX FAX info to ON following the procedure below.

• This function is not available when you send a fax manually.

  • Sending Fax after Speaking on Telephone

1. Check that printer is turned on.

2. Press the Setup button.

   The Setup menu screen is displayed.

3. Select Fax settings, then press the OK button.

4. Select Security control, then press the OK button.

5. Select Check RX FAX info, then press the OK button.

6. Select ON, then press the OK button.

Important

• Transmission will be canceled if the printer fails to receive the recipient's fax information or if the received information does not match the fax/telephone number.
