Description
Change Remote RX ID number from the default setting (25).
Solution
Remote RX
If the fax interrupts telephone conversations, change the Remote RX ID number. The default Remote RX ID number is 25. See the folloing steps to change the Remote RX ID number.
- Confirm the <Fax> button light is lit. If the light is not lit, press the <Fax> button.
- Press <Additional Functions> button. [1. FAX SETTINGS] will appear in the second row on the display.
- Press <Set>. [RECEIVE MODE] will appear on the display.
- Press the < (left arrow) or > (right arrow) to select [RX SETTINGS].
- Press <Set>. [ECM RX] will appear on the display.
- Press the < (left arrow) or > (right arrow) to select [REMOTE RX].
- Press <Set> twice. The current Remote RX ID number will appear.
- Press < or > to select the desired Remote RX ID number. The options are from 01 to 99.
- Press <Set>.
- Press <Stop/Reset> to return to standby mode (date and receive mode will appear).
