Causes

An printer error has occurred, the packing material was not removed, an ink tank may not be seated properly or there may be an obstruction in the paper feed path.

Actions

Remove the packing material, reseat the ink tanks (use reseat the ink tank procedure) or remove jammed paper / any obstruction in the paper feed path (see Removing Paper Jams).

If the above actions do not clear the error, follow the steps below.

Turn off the machine, and unplug the power cord of the machine from the power supply.

Plug the machine back in and turn the machine back on.

If the problem is not resolved, service is required.
