Verify the fax recipient

There are two printer functions you can set to help prevent your printer / fax from sending faxes to the wrong recipient.

Fax number re-entry
When setting this function, you'll have enter the fax number two times using the numeric buttons on the operation panel. This helps avoid misdialing.

• This feature can be turned on or off under MENU > Setup > Device settings > FAX settings > Security control > FAX number re-entry.

Checking recipient's information
Before transmitting the fax, your printer / fax can check to see that the recipient's fax information matches the dialed number.

• This feature can be turned on or off under MENU > Setup > Device settings > FAX settings > Security control > Check RX FAX information.
