Description

Using the image stabilizer on a DC10 or DC20 DVD camcorder

Solution

The image stabilizer helps compensate for camcorder shake even at full telephoto.

  1. Press the <MENU> button.
  2. In the [CAMERA SETUP} menu select [IMG STAB ].
  3. Use the buttons of the omni selector to turn the image stabilizer [ON] or [OFF].
  4. Press the <MENU> button to exit the menu.
  • The image stabilizer is designed to compensate for a normal degree of camcorder shake.
  • The image stabilizer may not be effective when recording in dark places using the Night recording program (SCN).
  • The image stabilizer cannot be turned off when the mode switch is in the [AUTO] (Easy Recording) position.
  • We recommend turning off the image stabilizer when using a tripod.
  • The image stabilizer only functions in the movie recording modes.
