Wired Setup - Driver and Software

To be able to use the PIXMA TS series printer to print from a Windows computer, the printer must first be connected to the Wired LAN and software drivers and applications installed on the computer. 
 

Prior to installing the drivers and software, Wired LAN must be enabled on the printer's LAN settings.  If you need help to enable Wired LAN, click here.

After enabling Wired LAN, install the Drivers and software.

Download and run the setup file.*

 

Get the Setup File
 

Click Setup icon in the Dock, follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with setup.

* Double-click the downloaded .dmg file if setup icon did not appear
 

  1. Click Next


     
  2. Enter the network password and click Install Helper



     
  3. Click Start Setup


     
  4. Click Next


     
  5. Select region and click Next


     
  6. Click Yes on the License Agreement



     
  7. Canon will request information regarding the usage of your product.  Read the statement regarding the information that will be collected.  If you agree to provide this information, click Agree.  If you do not wish to provide this information, click Do not agree.  Please note that if you do not agree to provide this information, it will not prevent you from installing the software for your printer.




    If you click Do not agree, the following message will appear.  Click OK to continue


     
  8. Click Yes on the Connection Method screen



     
  9. If a dialog box appears requesting keychain access, click Allow



     
  10. Click Add Printer


     
  11. Select your printer series with Bonjour  listed in the Kind column and click Add


     
  12. Click Next


     
  13. Click Next


     
  14. Click Next on Setup Complete


     
  15. Select any optional software you wish to install and click Next


     
  16. Click Next


     
  17. Select to either register the printer or Skip


     
  18. Select whether or not to create a shortcut to the online manual and click Next


     
  19. Click Exit
