Fan paper thoroughly

Fan paper prior to inserting it into the Auto Sheet Feeder (ASF).

1. Open the multi-purpose tray if not open already.
   
   
2. If paper is loaded in themulti-purpose tray, remove it from the tray.
   
   
3. Fan out the sheets of paper so that they do not stick together.
   
   
4. Align the edges of the paper by tapping each side on a flat surface .
   
   
   
5. Insert the stack of paper (print side up) back into the tray.
   
   
6. Pinch the paper guide and adjust it to the width of the stack.
   
   
7. Press <Set>.
   
   
8. If printing from a Windows application, follow the instructions displayed on the computer monitor.
