Description

Learn what to do if the print quality from your PIXMA MX922 is streaked, blank, or missing colors.

Solution

Follow the steps below to troubleshoot the error.  Attempt to reprint the nozzle check pattern after each step to determine if the repair is successful.

  1. Print the nozzle check pattern.

    • Refer to print and examine the nozzle check pattern for instructions.

    • If the nozzle check pattern prints correctly, the inks and printhead are configured and working properly. Try to print from a different application.

  2. Confirm the paper and ink inside the printer are not blocked.

  3. Clean the print head.

  4. Perform a deep clean of the print head.
