Can a Commercially-Available Mobile Battery be Used to Charge/Power the Camera via USB? (EOS R5/EOS R6)

Solution

To charge/power the camera using a USB connection, please use the USB Power Adapter PD-E1 (sold separately).
Kindly be advised that Canon is unable to guarantee the operations of the camera and the mobile battery used, if a commercially-available USB-compatible equipment is connected to the camera.

However, please note that we are unable to guarantee all operations of the product in concern. (As of July 2020)
