While you are playing back a tape you can capture the picture as a still image or as a movie clip on the memory card. The size of the still image will be [S 640x480] and cannot be changed.

TO CAPTURE A STILL IMAGE

During movie playback or in playback pause mode press the [PHOTO] button.

TO CAPTURE A MOVIE CLIP

During movie playback or in playback pause mode press the [START/STOP] button to begin recording.

Press [START/STOP] again to stop the recording.

NOTE:

The data code of the captured still image/movie clip will reflect the date and time when it was recorded on the memory card.
