Sending a fax Overseas (from the U.S.)

Follow these steps to send a document Overseas (from the U.S.).

1. Press <FAX> to set the Fax Mode.
   
   
   
2. Prepare the document and load it face down in the ADF.
   
   The currently used memory is displayed.
   
   
   Standby to scan
   
   
3. Using the numeric keys, enter "011".
   For additional details on international access codes (or codes other than the U.S.) contact your local telephone company.
   

   
   

4. If necessary, press <Redial/Pause> to enter a two-second pause [P].
   
   
   

5. Use the numeric keys to dial the country code, the area code, and the fax/telephone number of the other party.
   For additional details on international codes, contact your local telephone company.

   	If you enter an incorrect destination, press <Clear> to delete it.

   
   
   

6. Press <Start>.
   

   	When scanning is complete, the machine starts to dial the number.
   	To cancel sending, press <Stop/Reset>, then press <>.
