Download and install the On-screen Manual

The On-screen manual is your printer's manual in an electronic form. The manual includes basic and advanced instructions to use your printer. As the manual installs on your computer's hard drive, be sure to download the On-screen manual based on your computer's operating system.

1. Visit Canon's support page.

2. In the search box below, type in the name of your product. When the product name appears below the search box, click it.

3. Click the View button to the right of the listed manual that you want.

    

   • Instructions to download the Windows version of the On-screen manual.

   • Instructions to download the macOS version of the On-screen manual.

Windows On-screen Manual:

1. If prompted to Save or Run, click Save.

2. The downloaded file will be saved in the specified place in the extracting form (.exe format).

3. Double-click the download EXE file to decompress it, then installation will start automatically.

4. Follow any instructions that appear.

 macOS On-screen Manual:

1. Files will be saved on your computer.

2. Double-click the file to mount the Disk Image.

3. Double-click the mounted Disk Image.

4. Double-click the .pkg file in the folder. Installation starts automatically.
