Note:

Specifying the system manager ID and system manager PIN
Up to 7-digit numbers can be specified.

<System manager ID>

  • If the numbers are less than 7-digit
    Example: when you enter <321>, the number is specified as <0000321>
  • If you register the numbers that start from <0>
    Example: when you enter <02><002>, the number is specified as <0000002>
  • You cannot register the consecutive numbers that consist of only <0> such as <00>.

<System manager PIN>

  • If the numbers are less than 7-digit
    Example: when you enter <321>, the number is specified as <0000321>

If you use department ID management
You need to specify system manager ID and PIN to restrict operation of <System Settings> in the operation panel or the operation of remote UI. Otherwise, all the users are recognized as the administration user, and every user can use <System Settings> on the operation panel and the Remote UI without restriction

Specify the system manager information for the machine. The items you can specify are as follows.

  • System manager ID
  • System manager PIN
  • System manager

If you set the system manager ID, you can operate the <System Settings> menu only when you enter the ID and PIN.

1. Press [] (Menu).

2. Select <System Settings> with [] or [], and them press [OK].

When the system manager ID and system manager PIN are specified
Use numeric keys to enter the ID and number, and then press [](ID)

3. Select <System Manager Information> with [] or [], and then press [OK].

4. Specify the system manager information.

If you specify <System Manager ID and PIN>

(1) Make sure that <System Manager and PIN> is selected, and then press [OK].

(2) Use the numeric keys to specify the system manager ID, and then press [OK].
Up to 7-digit numbers can be specified.

(3) Use the numeric keys to specify the system manager PIN, and then press [OK].
Up to 7-digit numbers can be specified.

If you specify <System Manager>

(1) Select <System Manager> with [] or[], and then press [OK].

(2) Specify the system manager.
Up to 32 characters can be entered.

5. Press [] (Menu), then close the menu screen.
