Description

The document feeder cover applies pressure to the document feed rollers.

Solution

Confirm the document feeder cover is closed.

The ADF cover (or feeder cover) assists in feeding documents through the ADF.

  1. Remove all documents from the ADF.

  2. Open the feeder cover.

  3. Confirm there are no obstructions (such as paper clips, staples, tape, etc.) in the document feed path. If there are any foreign objects in the document feed path, remove it.

  4. Close the feeder cover.


  5. Press <Stop> or <Resume> on the operator panel.

  6. Re-load documents in the ADF.
