Accessing or Changing Transmission (TX) or Reception (RX) Start Speed - MB2120

Description

When the telephone line condition or connection is poor, selecting a lower transmission or reception start speed may solve transmission / reception problems

Solution

Follow the steps below to access / change the Transmission (TX) or Reception (RX) Start Speed

 
  1. Make sure that the machine is turned on.
     
  2. Use the cursor arrow keys to select  Setup on the HOME screen.  Press the OK button.
     
  3. Use the cursor arrow keys to select  Device settings.  Press the OK button.
     
  4. Use the cursor arrow keys to select  Fax settings.  Press the OK button.
     
  5. Use the cursor arrow keys to select  Advanced Fax settings.  Press the OK button.
     
  6. Use the cursor arrow keys to select Adv. communication settings.  Press the OK button.
     
  7. Use the cursor arrow keys to select TX start speed or RX start speed.  Press the OK button.
     
  8. Use the cursor arrow keys to select the desired start speed.  Press the OK button.
