Solution

Shooting Close-ups (Macro)

You can shoot an object at a close distance or even shoot extreme close-ups of it. The shooting range is approximately - 50 cm (2.0 in. - 1.6 ft.) from the end of the lens (when the zoom lever is pushed to wide angle).

1. Press the button which will bring up the following screen.

2. Use the buttons or the <Control Dial> to choose , then press the <FUNC./SET> button.

3. Once set the (Macro) icon will appear.

  • It is recommended to attach the camera to a tripod to prevent the camera from moving and blurring the image.
  • You can reduce the AF frame size when you want to focus on a specific portion of the subject.
  • The edges of the image may darken if the flash fires.
