Paper Jams

Remove the jammed paper according to the following procedure:

1. Power off the printer.
    

2. Pull out the jammed paper gently.
   
   -Auto Sheet Feeder
   
   
   
   
   -Front Tray
   
   
   
   Rear Support (backside of the printer)
   
   
    

3. If the paper tears and a piece remains inside the printer, open the Top Cover and remove it.
   
   
    

4. After removing all paper, close the Top Cover, turn the printer off and turn it back on.
    

5. Power on the printer and confirm that the Alarm lamp is off. (If jammed paper remains inside the printer, the paper may be output automatically.)
    

6. Reload the paper into the printer, and press the <RESUME/CANCEL> button on the printer.
    

7. If you have turned off the printer in step (1), you will need to retry printing, because this operation cancels any print jobs in progress.
