Notes:
-
The HS & HQ lights may or may not blink for different types of controller errors

If the ERROR light comes on and the printer beeps, check for a paper misfeed or paper jam.
a. Check the sheet feeder. If the paper has misfed or the printer is out of paper, reload paper into sheet feeder.
b. Check the printer for a paper jam.

If the ERROR light comes on and the ON LINE, HS, and HQ lights are blinking, a controller error may of occurred.
Follow these steps to try a resolve the problem:
a. Press POWER button to turn off the printer then unplug the power cord.
b. Wait 15 seconds, and Plug power cord back in then press the POWER button again to turn on the printer.
If the problem has been cleared, the ON LINE light will blink for several seconds and then become steady, and the BJ cartridge will move to the Home position. If the problem continues, explain service options.
