About continous shooting
When you use the continuous shooting feature of your camera, the camera takes between 10 and one image per second. High-speed shooting is settable between 10 and two shots per second. Low-speed shooting is settable between nine and one shots per second. For the details about how to set the drive mode to continuous shooting, see the instruction manual.
Variables that affect speed
- Shooting will stop or slow if the memory card write speed is not high enough so that the internal buffer memory becomes full.
- If the memory card becomes full, shooting stops.
- The camera stops shooting if it overheats. The rate of fire and ambient temperature both contribute to the heat.
- If the internal buffer memory becomes full, it is not possible to carry out continuous shooting temporarily, and the shooting interval will become longer.
- Some camera settings, such as a high ISO, noise reduction, or a low battery can slow shooting speeds.
