How to use the wireless remote control with the EOS Rebel K2 Date.

Solution

With Remote Controller RC-5 (optional), wireless operation is possible up to 5m / 16.4 ft away from the front of the camera.
Press the button
  • While looking at the LCD panel, press the button to select the <Self-timer/remote>

Take the picture

  • Point the controller toward the camera's remote control sensor and press the transmit button
  • Picture is taken about 2 sec. later
  • The indicator will be the same as during the last 2 sec. of the self-timer

Certain types of fluorescent lights might cause the remote control operation to work improperly. Place the camera away from any fluorescent lights as far as possible
