If you are experiencing a 1062 error code (11 alarm lamp flashes of the printer), this is because the printer is detecting a paper width that does not match what is specified in the printer driver.  To prevent this error, you can disable the Detect paper width option in the printer driver.  Follow the steps below to disable this option. 

1. Open the IJ Print Utility.
    
2. From the pop-up menu, click Custom Settings.
   
   
    
3. In Custom Settings, remove the check for Detect paper width.  Then, click Apply.
   
   
    
4. When asked if you want to apply the settings, click OK.
   
   
    
5. After the settings have been applied, close the IJ Printer Utility and try to print again.
