Set the AF-assist Beam to [On] - PowerShot Sxx series

The AF-assist Beam option in the Rec. menu enables AF-assist beam firing during auto focusing, if necessary (low light conditions)
.

  1. Turn on the camera in shooting mode, by opening the lens cover.



  2. Press the <MENU> button.

  3. Select [AF-assist Beam] from the (Rec.) menu using the or button.

  4. Using the or button, select [On].

  5. Press the <MENU> buton to exit the menu.
