Download and install latest version of ScanGear for the 9900F (version 8.2.7.0 or later)

ScanGear 8.2.7.0 corrects issues relating to incorrectly detecting slide film scanning. The issue was only experienced in ScanGear versions prior to 8.2.7.0.

  1. Click Here to go directly to the CanoScan 9900F Drivers & Downloads page.

  2. Under Drivers & Downloads, click 'Drivers.'  (Note that if your operating system is not automatically detected, you will need to select it from the drop down menu.)

  3. In the Drivers section, click the Select button to the right of the current version of the ScanGear Scanner Driver (version 8.2.7.0 or later) for your operating system.

  4. Click Download to download the file to your computer.  When the download has completed, open the file and then open the installer file.

  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.


 Important
  • Canon is not issuing drivers for this product to support the Windows 10 operating system, Windows 7 drivers should function in the new Windows 10 environment with some limitations which are currently unknown to Canon.
