Solution

With Wireless Direct, you can connect right to your printer. There is no need to go through a router.

Follow the steps below to connect your devices to the TS6020 printer.

Before you begin

  • Before you connect, check out the usage restrictions that apply to Wireless Direct.

  • You can connect up to five mobile devices to the PIXMA printer.

    • PasswordThis may be required, depending on the device you use to connect to the printer.

    • Printer name. If your device is Wi-Fi compatible, the printer name will appear on your device when you connect it.

  4. Enter your Wireless Direct password.
To get it, you can print out the network settings or view the LAN settings on the printer's touch screen.

Note Make sure the name on the printer screen matches the name of your mobile device.
  6. Repeat Section 2 above, Steps 1-5 to add any other mobile devices you wish to connect to the printer.

You are now connected, and ready to print / scan.
