Solution

Check ink tank vent hole

The ink tank requires air to flow through it so ink can move from the reservoir to the print heads. It is necessary to adjust air pressure outside and inside the tank so that ink flows properly. If ink does not come out, check to make sure that the protective film has been correctly removed.

  1. Confirm that the printer is powered on and press the Open button. (The paper output tray will open.)

    Caution:
    a. Do not try to manually move or stop the Print Head Holder.
    b. Do not touch any metal parts.

  4. Press on the tab to release the ink tank (1), then remove it from its slot (2).

    b. If several ink tanks need replacing, remove and replace each one individually.

  6. If the orange tape is as shown in Figure (2), remove the remaining tape to the level shown in Figure (1).

  7. Insert the ink tank diagonally into the print head.

  8. Press it in firmly until it locks into place.

    Note:
Make sure that the ink tank is inserted in the slot that corresponds to the ink tank's color.

  9. Ensure that all the ink tanks are installed properly and the ink tank lamps light red.

    Note:
