Solution

How to print from a memory card

The following describes the procedures when Photo gallery is selected.

Note: When setting Photo Index print or Sticker print, borderless printing is not possible.

1. Ensure that the printer is powered on and open the paper support.

2. Load paper in the auto sheet feeder.

3. Insert the memory card into the card slot and press the <Menu> button.

4. Set the paper settings.

a. Press the <Settings> button. The Settings screen is displayed.

b. Use the or cursor button to select the item to set.

c. Use the or cursor button to select the setting.

d. Press the <Settings> button to complete setting changes.



<1> Page size: You can specify the page size. - 4" x 6" (101.6 x 152.4) / Credit card

<2> Media type: You can specify the media type. - Photo Paper Plus Glossy / Matte Photo Paper / Glossy Photo Paper / Photo Paper Pro

<3> Print quality: You can adjust image quality. - Standard, High

<4> Border: You can specify prints with a border / without a border. - Bordered / Borderless

Borderless: Your image will be automatically cropped to fit the aspect ratio of the media you have loaded. To manually crop the image, use the Trimming feature

Bordered: Your entire image will be centered on the paper . To crop the image use the Trimming feature. If trimming is not used, borders on the print will be determined by the aspect ratio of your image.

<5> Date/file no.: You can print the date the photo was taken / file numbers (DCF numbers) on photos. - No date/file no., Print date only, Print file no. only, Print date & file no.

5. Use the or cursor button to select Photo gallery, and press the <OK> button.

6. Use the or cursor button to select the image you want to print, and press the <OK> button.

7. Use the or cursor button to specify the number of print copies, and press the <Print> button.
Printing will start.


Printing a Specified Area?Trimming

You can print a specified area of the photo displayed on the LCD.

Note: Please trim the photo after specifying Page size,Media type, and Borderless/Bordered on each settings screen. If you change the settings after trimming the photo, the trimmed selection will be lost.

1. Select the photo to trim.

Use the or buttons to select the photo.

2. Set the Trimming Mode.


Press the <Trimming> button on the operation panel. The printer is now in Trimming Mode.

3. Trim the sections you want to print.

  • Trimming button: you can rotate the trimming area.
  • buttons: you can move the trimming area.
  • buttons: you can enlarge or reduce the trimming area.

4. Finalize the trimmed area.

a. Press the <OK> button. The trimming area is fixed and the original photo is displayed.

Note:

  • Trimming limits are displayed on photographs that have been trimmed.
  • Once the trimmed area is finalized, if you press the <Trimming> button again, you can modify the trimmed area.
  • If you want to cancel the trimming mode, press the <Trimming> button and then press the <Stop/Reset> button in the Trimming screen. Removing the memory card also cancels the trimming mode.
  • You cannot save the trimmed image to a memory card.
