Check RX Fax Info

If [Check RX fax info] is set to ON, your fax will check that the recipient's fax information is available and confirm the fax information matches the dialed number. If your machine does not detect the recipient's fax information or the information does not match the dialed number, an error will appear and your sent fax will not complete.

Follow this procedure to check and change the [Check RX fax info] setting.

1. Press the <FAX> button.
   
   
2. Press the <Menu> button.
   
   
3. Press the right arrow () to select [Settings].
   
   
   
4. Press <OK>.
   
   
5. Press the right arrow ( ) to select [Device Settings] and then press <OK>.
   
   
6. In Device settings menu, press the up () or down arrow () to select [FAX settings] is selected and then press <OK>.
   
   
   
   
7. In FAX settings menu, press the up () or down arrow () to select [Transmission settings] and then press <OK>.
   
   
8. In Transmission settings menu, press the up () or down arrow () to select [Check RX fax info] and then press <OK>.
   
   
9. Press the up () or down arrow () to select [OFF] and then press <OK>.
   
   
10. Press the <FAX> button and attempt to send another fax.
