Follow these steps to change the roll length setting:

1. Make sure [Chk Remain.Roll] is turned OFF (Menu > Paper Settings ("Media Menu" on some models) > Chk Remain.Roll).
   If not, when you unload the roll, it will print a barcode on it.
   
   
2. Unload the roll media.
   
   
3. Set [Chk Remain.Roll] to [ON] (Menu > Paper Settings ("Media Menu" on some models) > Chk Remain.Roll).
   
   
4. Load roll media.
   When the roll is loaded, the printer will ask for the length. Use the left and right arrows to set the appropriate length.

It is possible to change the current value set for the roll length without having to reload the media. Simply navigate the menu to [Roll Length Set] and change the value for the roll length.

NOTE: If you have received an error about not enough media, you have to restart the printer to clear the error before resuming the print job.
