When updates are available, you can update the printer firmware to add additional functions or correct issues.

Update the firmware

  1. Turn on the printer.
  2. Make sure the printer is connected to the Internet.
  3. Press MENU, select Setup, and press OK.
  4. Select Device settings and press OK.
  5. Select Firmware update and press OK.
  6. Select Install update and press OK. 
  7. Select Yes and press OK to confirm that you want to update the firmware.
  8. Press OK to start the firmware update.
  9. Press OK when "Update succeeded" is displayed.
