How to select and set the self-timer mode.

Solution

The self-timer function delays the shutter release for 10 seconds. Use this function when you are more than than 16.4 ft away from the camera.

Put the autofocus frame over the subject

Press the self-timer button

The red lamp starts flashing slowly and then rapidly two-seconds before the picture is taken.
  • Close the lens cover to cancel this function
  • Be sure to place the camera on a steady surface or use a tripod
  • Use the tilt knob on the bottom of the camera
  • If you are the subject put the autofocus frame on an object located where you will be
