How to launch Easy-PhotoPrint Pro

Easy-PhotoPrint Pro is plug-in software (*1). Therefore, you cannot launch Easy-PhotoPrint Pro alone; launch it from Adobe Photoshop or Digital Photo Professional.

*1: Plug-in is an extension file to add a function to application software.

Note: Connect the printer to the computer and turn it ON.

When launching Easy-PhotoPrint Pro from Adobe Photoshop

The versions of Photoshop supporting the latest version of Easy-PhotoPrint Pro are CS /CS2/CS3/CS4, Elements 6 and Elements 8. The older versions do not support Easy-PhotoPrint Pro.

*Note: The original version of Easy-PhotoPrint Pro was not compatible with Photoshop CS3, CS4, Elements 6 or Elements 8. Download the latest version of Easy-PhotoPrint Pro to ensure compatibility.

Display one image or more before launching Easy-PhotoPrint Pro.

From the File menu of Adobe Photoshop, select 'Automate' (or 'Automation Tools' for Photoshop Elements), then open Easy-PhotoPrint Pro. Easy-PhotoPrint Pro will be launched.

If you installed Adobe Photoshop after Easy-PhotoPrint Pro, Easy-PhotoPrint Pro is not displayed in the File menu of Adobe Photoshop. In this case, install Photoshop Plug-in according to the following procedures:

Note: Close Photoshop before continuing.

1. From the Go menu, click 'Applications' and go to 'Canon Utilities', then open 'Easy-PhotoPrint Pro'.
   
   
2. Double-click 'Plug-In Installer'.
   
   
   
   
3. Click 'Yes'.
   
   
   
   
4. Click 'OK'.
   
   

When launching Easy-PhotoPrint Pro from Digital Photo Professional

The versions of Digital Photo Professional supporting Easy-PhotoPrint Pro are Ver. 2.1 or later. The older versions do not support Easy-PhotoPrint Pro.

From the File menu of Digital Photo Professional, select 'Plug-in printing', then open 'Print with Easy-PhotoPrint Pro'.

Easy-PhotoPrint Pro will be launched.

<When following the above methods does not launch Easy-PhotoPrint Pro>

- When the printer driver supporting Easy-PhotoPrint Pro has not been installed, the following error message is displayed, and Easy-PhotoPrint Pro fails to be launched. Install the printer driver.

- When trying to launch Easy-PhotoPrint Pro without any images displayed, the message below appears and Easy-PhotoPrint Pro will not be launched.

Launch Easy-PhotoPrint Pro after opening any image(s).
