Installing the Software - CanoScan LiDE 25/60 (Windows)

1. Place the CanoScan Setup Utility CD-ROM in the drive.  The CanoScan Setup Utility main menu will display.

   Note - If the CD fails to auto run:
   1. For Windows XP, click 'Start' and then 'My Computer'.  For other Windows operating systems, double-click the 'My Computer' icon on the desktop.
   2. Double-click the 'CanoScan' CD-ROM icon and then the 'Setup' icon to display the main menu.
       
3. Click 'Install' from the main menu.  The Install window will display.
    
4. Click 'Install' from the Install window.
    
5. Follow the on-screen message prompts to continue the installation.
    
6. When Installation completed successfully displays, click 'Restart'.  The computer will restart.
    
7. After the computer restarts, remove the CD-ROM from the drive and store it in a safe place.
