Learn how to use the "Easy Wireless Connect" method to connect your PIXMA TS9020 wirelessly.


 This article if for macOS^® 10.13 or older Mac operating systems, if your Mac has macOS^® 10.14 or a newer version installed click the link to learn how to complete a Wi-Fi set up on a Mac with macOS^® 10.14 or later.

 The PIXMA TS9020 printer must be connected to the wireless network to print or scan wirelessly, and the correct drivers and software must be installed on the computer. 

 

The setup process consists of 2 parts:

1. Start Easy Wireless Connect setup on the printer, and
2. Download and run the setup 
   
    

1.  Start the Easy Wireless Connect process on the printer

1. Make sure that the printer is turned on.

   If the power is on, the POWER lamp (A) will be lit.

   

   • Notes on Wireless Connection

If the printer is performing another process, wait for the process to finish before starting setup.
 

2. If is displayed on the left side of the screen, tap .

   If an error screen is displayed, tap OK, then tap .

   
    

3. Tap (B).

   
    

4. Tap LAN settings.

   
    

5. Tap Wireless LAN.

   
    

6. Tap Wireless LAN setup.

   
    

7. Tap Easy wireless connect.

   
    

8. Tap Yes.

   
    

9. When the printer preparation is complete, the screen below appears.

   Return to the setup screen to continue setup.

   
    

2. Download and run the setup file
 

Click the link to Get the Setup File, identify the file compatible with your computer's operating system click the Download button.   Once you download the files you can follow the steps below to complete the setup process.

 

Setup steps

1. Start setup. Click Next on the first screen.

   

2. Select Start Setup.

   

3. Select appropriate region and click Next.

   

4. Select Yes on the License Agreement.

   

5. Select Agree or Do Not Agree to the Survey.

   

6. Status check occurs.

   

7. Select Yes on the Connection Method.

    (Model #) used in example.  Actual model series number will appear in the setup program.

   

8. Setup continues. If the *Select wireless router screen (below) appears, select the wireless router to connect to the printer, enter the Network Key (password) and click Next.

   * This screen will not always appear.

   

9. Network Connection completed.  Click Next.

   

10. Drivers install.

    

11. Click Add Printer on the Add Printer screen.

    

12. On the Add screen, select the TS series with Bonjour Multifunction listed in the Kind column.  Select the Canon TS(Model #) series* in the Use: dropdown list. Click Add.

    

13. Click Next on the Add Printer screen.

    

14. Click Next.

    

15. Setup complete.  Click Next.

    

16. Select any optional application software desired.  Click Next.

    

17. Click Next.

    

18. Click Next or Skip.
