Solution

Uninstalling the CanoScan FS4000US in Windows Vista

DelFSex.exe is provided for uninstalling FilmGet but it cannot be used in Windows Vista. To uninstall FilmGet in Windows Vista, follow the steps below.

* Connect the scanner to the computer in advance before you perform the procedure.

  1. Select [Start] menu, right-click [Computer] and select [Properties].
  2. Select the [Device Manager] in the task area


  3. Right-click [Imaging devices] - [CanoScan FS4000US] and then select [Uninstall]


  4. [Confirm Device Uninstall] is displayed. Check the box of [Delete the driver software for this device] and click [OK]
