The CR-50/80 has the built-in imprinter unit as a standard function, which can print endorsement information on checks before scanning. This ink-jet imprinter prints a single line up to 32 characters of 3 x 3mm size (Normal font) or up to 48 characters of 3 x 2mm (Small font).

It is also possible to use "Dynamic" Imprinting (virtual). This option is available in the "Add-on" tab of the driver and will "print" a maximium of 4 lines up to 48 characters each.
