The Canon Speedlite 480EG can cover an angle of view up to 35mm focal length without an adapter. When shooting with lenses in the 20-28mm focal length range, use the Wide Panel 480EG-20. The guide number will becone lower and the effective flash exposure control range will become shorter.
Speedlite 480EG does not feature built-in flash exposure compensation. However, flash exposure compensation control is possible with some EOS cameras. Please refer to the camera's instruction manual for details.
In situations where flash exposure control shooting is not suitable, or when you want to add a touch of personal style to you photography, shoot with manual flash control. The 480EG can be set manually to three flash power levels: FULL power, 1/4 power and 1/16 power.
