The UI will display the percentage complete while it loads the software into the scanner. If you get another error use a different USB stick and try loading the file again. The USB stick has been known to cause this situation.

Ink Tank Cover Doors Will not Open If the power light on the printer is not lit steady, or if the error indicator light is on or flashing, then the Tank Cover Open button may not function. Wait for the power light to become steady or clear the error and try again.
