1. Open your Applications Folder and look for the Canon MF Utilities Folder. In this folder you will find the Canon MF Scan Utility.app and the MF Toolbox.app. The imageCLASS MF212w, imageCLASS MF216n, imageCLASS MF217w , imageCLASS MF227dw, and imageCLASS MF229dw all use the Canon MF Scan Utility application.

For the MF229dw / MF227dw, the default setting is for 2-sided printing. Change the setting as necessary. The MF216n and MF217w do not automatically print 2-sided.
