For the power source, using DC Coupler DR-E6 (sold separately) and AC Adapter ACK-E6N (sold separately) is recommended. If you use a battery, make sure it is fully charged. If you use Battery Grip BG - E 14 (sold separately) with AA/R6 batteries , manual sensor cleaning will not be possible.

If there is insufficient charge left in the camera battery, the camera cannot communicate with EOS Utility. In this case, replace the battery with a charged one, or use an AC adapter kit ACK- E 6 (Separately available).Your computer does not supply power to the camera through the interface cable.
