This product is designed to achieve excellent performance when used with genuine Canon accessories. Canon shall not be liable for any damage to this product and/or accidents such as fire, etc., caused by the malfunction of non-genuine Canon accessories ( e .g., a leakage and/or explosion of a battery pack). Please note that any repairs your Canon product may require as a result of such malfunction are not covered under warranty and will incur a fee.

If there is insufficient charge left in the camera battery, the camera cannot communicate with EOS Utility. In this case, replace the battery with a charged one, or use an AC adapter kit ACK- E 17 (available separately). Your computer does not supply power to the camera through the interface cable.

Depending on the condition of the network you are using, it may take a long time to send movies. Be sure to keep an eye on the camera battery level.

Subject the camera to strong impacts or knocks. Set the camera's power to <OFF>. Open the battery cover, or the memory card slot cover while in use.

Setting or Changing the Date and Time (EOS M10)

The camera includes a built-in date/time battery (backup battery ). Date/time settings are retained for about 3 weeks after the battery pack is removed.

Importing images to a PC (using Windows functions / Windows 7)

For example, if you create a "holiday" tag, even if images with that tag are saved in different folders, you can list all of those images by selecting that tag. By using this option, you can speed up your image searches. For details, please refer to Windows Help .
