EOS R5/EOS R6â s [Movie Servo AF speed] is settable when [AF: Movie Servo AF] is set to [Enable]. Additionally, this function is only enabled when using the following lenses compatible with slow focus transition during movie shooting. (USM lenses released in 2009 or later and STM lenses are compatible with this function.)
Movie Cropping With RF or EF lenses, movies can be cropped around the center of the image, as if using a telephoto lens. Recording movies with EF- S lenses has the same effect as this movie cropping feature.
When the following lenses are attached, even more effective stabilization is possible when the lensâ s IS is used in conjunction with [IS mode] and [Movie digital IS] on the camera. (As of July 2020)
