If phone line conditions are less than perfect, transmission (send) and reception (receive) problems can occur. Decrease the reception (RX or receive) speed if frequent fax transaction error messages appear on the LCD.

Sending Documents If an error occurs during sending, the fax beeps intermittently for a few seconds and an error message appears on the LCD. If this happens, correct the problem and then press <Stop>, then try sending the document again.

Enable / disable ECM (Error Correction Mode) when sending a fax. * Select [ON] to send faxes with error correction. If telephone line conditions are poor, the time to send a fax will take longer.
CMS-XML Printing a report on the FAX-JX200
Depending on the type of report, you can have the fax print the report automatically, or you can print it directly. The TX report, RX report, MULTI TX/RX report, and Memory clear report* can only be printed automatically. See REPORT SETTINGS on how and when reports are printed automatically. Normally the fax does not print an activity report for transmitting, but you can set the fax to print an activity report every time you send a document. You can set the fax to print an activity report only when an error occurs during transmitting.
