Once your PC and the camera are connected, perform the initial settings next. The instructions here follow on from "2. Connect the Camera to the Network", where one camera is connected to a PC as an example.
If you select a link requesting video in step 1, a file that includes the IP address information for the VB-C50i/VB-C50iR is sent from the Web server in step 2. If you are using the Viewer for Java, the applet is downloaded to the viewer PC from the VB-C50i/VB-C50iR in response to the request in step 3 and the video is distributed.
Changing the RS-232C Settings on a VC-C50i / VC-C50iR These settings are used for controlling the VC-C50i/VC-C50iR from a PC or other device. The DATA 8 BIT and NON PARITY settings are fixed, and the menu is used to check them only. DATA 8 BIT and NON PARITY are to be read only.

Note: VB Administration Tools require that Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or later be installed. 1. Turn on the power to the PC . If power to the PC is already on and Windows is running, exit all other applications before installing VB Administration Tools.
