Installing the Camera (VB-H41 / VB-M40)

Cover SS40-S-VB/SS40-B-VB (sold separately). Before installing the camera, set the IP address and other network information on the camera using the “ VB Initial Setting Tool” on the Setup CD-ROM. For details on how to operate the “VB Initial Setting Tool”, see “Operation Guide”.

Overview of Viewer
|
Accessing this viewer via a web browser allows you to display images and operate the camera. Two types of viewer are available, the Admin Viewer and the VB Viewer.

Preset Setting Tool - Preset Tour

[Not used] - Preset tour is not performed. [For Viewers] - Preset tour is performed when a camera is connected via the VB Viewer, etc. [Always] - Preset tour is always performed.

(3) Control Assist - Displays dotted lines showing the range of pan operation and tilt operation. The camera angle cannot be changed to positions with no dotted lines.

Change the Camera Angle in the Panorama Display Area
|
Users operating the camera in the VB Viewer can control the camera within the view restrictions.

[Network] Setting Administrator Password, LAN, IP Address, DNS, etc

If any of the [IPv4 Address], [Subnet Mask] or [IPv4 Default Gateway Address] settings is wrong, network access may be disabled. In this case, see Ô?erforming Initial Settings for the CameraÔ and use VB Initial Setting Tool to set the address again.
