If your DR- S 150 stops responding over the network, it may be that your system is blocking one of the required network ports. See the table below for a list of the network ports that the DR-S150 uses.
Use the Wireless Connection Tool to automatically acquire the required network information from the wireless settings of the computer connected to the access point, and connect the DR- S 150 to the same network. Follow the steps listed below to successfully connect your scanner to a wireless (Wi-Fi) network.
Confirm that the scanner is properly connected to the computer with the supplied USB cable( s ). Notes on Connecting the Scanner When operating the scanner via applications such as CaptureOnTouch, make sure to set the Auto Start switch to OFF.
Other devices attached to the computer can block proper communication. Check to see if there are any devices (other than USB keyboards or mice) connected to the computer. Disconnect the device( s ) and restart the computer. Once the computer has restarted, attempt your process again.
