About the Network Functions You can connect the camcorder to a wireless network or a compatible network device using Wi-Fi or to a wired network using an Ethernet cable Before using the network functions
After connecting a network device to the camcorder via Wi-Fi , you can operate the camcorder remotely using Browser Remote, a Web browser application that can be accessed using the Web browser on network devices*. Using Browser Remote, you can check the camcorderâs live view image and control various recording settings. On the Browser Remote screen, you can also check the remaining recording time on the card, remaining battery charge and the camcorderâs time code.
Finally you can connect a network device to the camcorder via Wi-Fi and use the Browser Remote application to control the camcorder Operating Modes: Using the Supplied Wireless Controller
In yellow – starting the camcorder’s access point. In white – the camcorder’s access point is ready. Connect the Wi-Fi enabled device to the camcorder.
If the problem persists, consult a Canon Service Center. No access points found âThe camcorder searched for active Wi-Fi networks (access points) in the area but none were found. Make sure the access point is working correctly and try connecting again.
