The printer protocol was changed from LPD (Line Printer Daemon) to IPP (Internet Printing Protocol). The CUPS driver was not selected (the default setting is Generic PostScript Printer). The computer was unable to connect to the printer so it selected the iPF5000 as default.
This product can be used with Mac OS X 10.5 with the latest drives available on-line Adobe Photoshop CS3 Print Plug-In for Mac OS X 10.5 is also now available on-line* *(For iPF9000, iPF8000, and iPF5000 ONLY.)
Printer Export Plug-in: The current CS3 export module will function normally under versions of Vista with the latest printer drivers installed. (applies only to iPF5000 , 8000, 9000, 8000s, 9000s, 6100, 8100, 9100, W6400PG, and W8400PG)
