How to set Continuous Shooting (PowerShot SX710 HS)

Solution

You can hold the shutter button all the way down to shoot continuously.
When the camera is set to [ ] mode, you can shoot approx. 6.0 shots/sec.
IMPORTANT
  • In the following example procedure, the camera's shooting mode has been set to [Auto] ().
  • During continuous shooting, focus and exposure are locked at the position/level determined when you pressed the shutter button halfway.
  • Cannot be used with the self-timer.
  • Shooting may stop momentarily or continuous shooting may slow down depending on shooting conditions, camera settings, and the zoom position.
  • As more shots are taken, shooting may slow down.
  • Shooting may slow down if the flash fires.
  • Multi-area White Balance is not available. Similarly, [Hg Lamp Corr.] is set to [Off] and cannot be changed.

Continuous shooting cannot be set in the following modes:

1. Press the <Power> button to turn the camera on.

2. Press the [ ] button.

3. Press the [ ], [ ] buttons or turn the [ ] dial to choose [Drive mode].
Press the [ ] button.


4. Press the [ ], [ ] buttons or turn the [ ] dial to choose [Continuous] ().
Press the [ ] button.

5. If the icon for [Continuous] () is displayed on the upper-left part of the screen, the setting procedure is complete.
Hold the shutter button all the way down to shoot continuously.
